Pastor Travis Creekmore

Pastor Travis Creekmore answered the call to preach 25 years ago with a 15-minute sermon he’ll be the first to tell you was “terrible.” But that humble beginning sparked a lifelong journey of ministry that has since touched lives across the world.

From preaching in small churches with only a handful of people to baptizing new believers in the Amazon River, Pastor Travis has never lost sight of the power of the Gospel or the faithfulness of God. Over the years, he’s had the honor of pastoring two incredible churches, witnessing firsthand the transformation that happens when God moves — from just 3 people on his first Sunday in his first pastorate, to seeing that number multiply over time. His second pastorate began with 13 attendees, and after 16 years, has grown into a thriving community of over 165.

His ministry has taken him beyond the walls of the church and across borders. He’s preached the Good News in the Navajo Nation, Honduras, South Africa, Peru, and in county jails and federal prisons — even ankle-deep in water — always with the same message of hope and redemption.

Pastor Travis holds ministerial credentials with the Church of God and credits his foundation to those who believed in him early on — from his first credentialing by Bro. Vernon Bradshaw to the trust shown by Pastor Leon Burns, who gave him the pulpit every Wednesday night. He is especially thankful for the many mentors who have poured into his life and ministry.

At the heart of it all is his wife, Kirstie Callahan Creekmore, who has walked beside him every step of the way. Her love and support have been constant through every season of ministry.

Whether preaching in a packed sanctuary or a prison cell, Pastor Travis remains committed to the calling that began 25 years ago — to share the love of Christ with boldness, compassion, and authenticity.

As he looks ahead, Pastor Travis is full of faith for what God has in store for the next 25 years of ministry.
